Engineering disciplines (mechanical, electrical, etc.) and certain business majors—accounting, marketing, business analytics and related fields.

The main application period is in the winter of sophomore year (your second year of university, with selection taking place in spring). Some programs also have an additional application in the fall.

You’ll need to meet your major requirements and be on track for upper-division coursework. MECOP also screens for GPA and completed prerequisites.
